Focus and scope
The 10th International Conference on Science and Technology (ICST UGM 2024) offers a premier academic platform for researchers to present their latest research findings and describe emerging technologies and directions in engineering and the natural sciences.
This year, four symposia will be held: Computer, Electronics, and Information Technology Symposium; Life Sciences, Materials, and Applied Chemistry Symposium; Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Symposium; and Remote Sensing and Geomatics Symposium. ICST UGM 2024 is in conjunction with the 5th Geoscience and Environmental Management symposium and the 5th International Conference on Smart and Innovative Agriculture.
Peer-review process
All submitted papers undergo an initial evaluation by the editorial staff. Those deemed inappropriate to conference criteria are rejected promptly without external review. Papers deemed of potential interest to our readership are sent to blind reviewers. The peer-review process assesses papers based on relevance and timeliness, technical content and scientific rigor, novelty and originality, and presentation quality. The editors then decide based on the reviewer’s recommendation from among several possibilities: rejected, require major revision, or need minor revision. Authors can monitor the status of their paper at any time from their EDAS account. The committee will notify authors via email when the review process is complete. After notification of acceptance, authors must revise their paper in accordance with the author guidelines and review results.
Review process:

- Editors decide based on the reviewer’s recommendation; and
- Authors are notified via email.
